Tucked into the quiet farmland of Saunders County, Malmo is a tiny village of fewer than one hundred residents with deep Swedish roots. Founded as a railroad stop in the late 1880s and named after the city in Sweden, it originally grew alongside neighboring farming settlements like Mead and Swedeburg.
