About Maloy
Maloy is a Ringgold County city first platted as a rail town in 1887, originally under the name Delphi. The depot shaped its commercial pattern, and passenger trains later encouraged businesses to gather around the stop. Maloy was known for its livestock industry, and early commercial life included hotels and railroad traffic. Its 1,607,975-square-meter footprint remains a compact marker of the rail-and-stock economy that formed Benton Township.
