About Malvern

Malvern is a city and the county seat of Hot Spring County, Arkansas. Founded in 1870 as a railroad stop at the eastern edge of the Ouachita Mountains, the city is nicknamed "The Brick Capital of the World" due to its massive clay deposits and local Acme Brick plants. The community hosts the Hot Spring County Museum and the annual County Fair and Rodeo. Public education is provided by the Malvern School District, leading to Malvern High School.
