Mantua, UT

Tucked away in a mountain valley at the top of Box Elder Canyon, Mantua gives you the feel of a quiet lakeside retreat with the convenience of Brigham City right down the road. With around a thousand residents, it is a close community centered around the Mantua Reservoir. The town dates back to Danish settlers in the 1860s, but today it appeals to anyone looking for open space, mountain views, and a slower pace of life.

In the summer, you will see neighbors out on the reservoir boating, fishing, and paddleboarding, while winter brings crisp mountain air, snowmobiling, and ice fishing. Because Highway 89 runs right through the canyon, residents enjoy an easy ten-minute commute to schools, grocery stores, and jobs in the valley below before heading home to a peaceful mountain setting.
