About Mantua

Mantua is a town situated at the head of Box Elder Canyon in Box Elder County, Utah, built around the shores of the Mantua Reservoir. Settled in 1863 by Danish émigrés led by Hans Jens Jensen to grow flax for the region, the community of approximately 1,677 is served by the Box Elder School District.
