Marine View, WA

Marine View is a Grant County census-designated place at the northern base of the Frenchman Hills, south of Washington State Route 262. The 2020 census counted 405 residents in a compact area east of Moses Lake and north of Othello. Potholes Reservoir and Potholes State Park sit across the highway to the north, so the community’s map is tied to the Columbia Basin’s irrigation country, basalt hills, and reservoir recreation. The elevation is about 1,155 feet, with open roads and broad views replacing a conventional town center.

Royal School District serves Marine View, linking the CDP to schools and services in the surrounding agricultural area. State Route 262 carries traffic between the reservoir, Othello, and the Moses Lake area, while the Potholes shoreline supplies the nearest large recreation landscape. Marine View first appeared as a CDP in the 2020 census, which gives the place a recent statistical label even though the roads and homes belong to an older rural pattern.
