Marion, IN (City)

Marion is a city and the county seat of Grant County, Indiana, situated along the Mississinewa River. Named after Revolutionary War General Francis Marion, the city of approximately 27,500 is home to Indiana Wesleyan University, the largest private university in the state. The community features several designated historic districts, and public education is administered by the Marion Community Schools district.
