Marlborough, MO

Marlborough is a St. Louis County village of 2,220 residents in the 2020 census, incorporated in 1944. It sits along the old Route 66 alignment near Watson and South Laclede Station Roads, with the road corridor doing much of the orientation work. The old alignment still gives Marlborough a recognizable line through the surrounding residential and commercial fabric. The village is one of 91 municipalities in St. Louis County, so its identity is tied to a small local government inside a county made up of many separate communities.
