Martinsdale, MT

Martinsdale is a Hutterite community and census-designated place in Wheatland County, Montana, United States. The 2020 census counted 97 residents. Martinsdale is on the western edge of the county, bordered to the west by Meagher County and 4 miles northeast of the unincorporated community of Martinsdale. The Musselshell River forms the southern edge of the CDP. The community is zoned to Harlowton Public Schools. Martinsdale makes sense once you see how its past, landscape, and current gathering spots overlap. The useful thing to know about Martinsdale is that its older landmarks and current settings belong to one connected place. U.S. Route 12 runs through the southern part of the CDP, leading east 22 miles to Harlowton, the Wheatland county seat, and west 36 miles to White Sulphur Springs. Martinsdale includes the Musselshell River.
