Meadow Lakes, AK

Meadow Lakes is a census-designated place in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough, west of Wasilla and within the Anchorage metro area. It has grown quickly, passing 9,000 people at the 2020 census after a much smaller count in 2010. Like several Mat-Su communities, it is best understood as a residential growth area rather than a traditional town center: homes, roads, space, and access to Wasilla-area services are the everyday story.
