Mediapolis, IA

Located in southeastern Iowa, Mediapolis gets its name from being the "middle city." Originally founded in the 1800s as a railroad stop halfway between Burlington and Wapello, it has grown into a quiet, tight-knit community right along Highway 61. Much of the local activity centers around the schools on the north edge of town, where the elementary, middle, and high schools share one main campus. School events and athletics are a big part of the town's identity, bringing neighbors together throughout the year to cheer on the Bulldogs and Bullettes.
