About Meridianville

Meridianville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in northern Madison County, just north of Huntsville. It belongs to the Huntsville-Decatur orbit, but its own story is quieter: an early-1800s settlement along the old Nashville-to-Huntsville road, named for its position on the base meridian. Today it is mostly residential, with public schools and U.S. 231/431 providing the practical frame for daily life.
