About Metolius

Named after the famous river nearby, Metolius is a quiet, friendly community set in the sunny farm country of Jefferson County. The town got its start as a busy railroad hub, and you can still visit the restored 1911 train depot right in the center of town. Today, Metolius offers a peaceful, laid-back setting with views of the Cascade Mountains and open fields all around.
