About Middleburg

Middleburg is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Clay County, Florida, situated twenty-six miles southwest of downtown Jacksonville. Developing around the historic military post of Fort Heileman during the Seminole Wars, the community of approximately 11,600 preserves its heritage in the Middleburg Historic District, which features the 1835 Clark-Chalker House. The suburban neighborhood is centered along Blanding Boulevard and is home to Middleburg High School.
