About Midway

Midway is a small Wasatch County city in the Heber Valley, known for its Swiss-influenced architecture and mountain setting. Fur-trapping parties led by Etienne Provost were among the first European-American visitors to the area, and the community later developed a distinctive alpine look that still shapes new subdivisions. Wasatch Mountain State Park sits on Snake Creek in north Midway, giving the town immediate access to trails, golf, snow sports, and the broader recreation economy of the Wasatch Back.
