Millbrook, IL

Millbrook is a quiet village tucked along the Fox River in Kendall County, about 60 miles southwest of Chicago. Home to fewer than 300 residents, it offers a peaceful rural setting with wide-open spaces and a relaxed pace. While the village only officially incorporated in 2002, the area has deep agricultural roots and a tight-knit country atmosphere.

Much of local life revolves around the outdoors. Silver Springs State Fish and Wildlife Area sits just down the river, giving residents easy access to fishing, kayaking, camping, and miles of trails through woods and prairies. Millbrook itself is made up mostly of homes and farmland, but everyday amenities, schools, and shopping are just seven miles away in neighboring Yorkville, with bigger city conveniences close by in Aurora.
