Millsap, TX

Located about 15 miles west of Weatherford in Parker County, Millsap offers quiet, wide-open rural living with easy access to the rest of North Texas. The community started back in the 1800s as a stagecoach stop along the trail to Palo Pinto, named after early settler Fuller Millsap. Today, it has held onto that relaxed country character, giving residents plenty of room to spread out among pastures, tree-lined roads, and peaceful acreage properties.

With around 400 residents in town, daily life centers around the close-knit Millsap Independent School District, which brings together families from across the surrounding ranches. While the area feels calm and secluded, convenience is still close at hand. A quick drive into Weatherford handles grocery runs, healthcare, and dining in about 15 minutes, with Fort Worth within an easy commute down Interstate 20.
