About Millville

Millville is a town in Sussex County, Delaware, situated one mile west of the Atlantic Ocean and just south of Indian River Bay. Developing in the late nineteenth century around Captain Peter Townshend's steam-powered sawmill, the community of approximately 2,430 is served by the Indian River School District for public primary and secondary education.
