About Milton

Milton is a city and the county seat of Santa Rosa County, Florida, situated near the mouth of the Blackwater River within the Pensacola metropolitan area. Incorporated in 1844 under the informal early name of Scratch Ankle, the community of approximately 10,700 is home to the West Florida Railroad Museum. Public education is administered by the Santa Rosa County School District.
