Milton, PA

Set along the West Branch Susquehanna River in central Pennsylvania, Milton is a quiet, down-to-earth town of about 6,600 residents. Situated right between Lewisburg and Danville, it offers an affordable place to settle down with easy access to neighboring job centers and universities. The downtown area keeps a lot of traditional small-town character, where historic brick buildings and old railroad stations reflect the community's industrial roots.

One of the area's biggest draws is Milton State Park, an 82-acre island in the middle of the river featuring walking trails, boat launches, and open space for picnics and sports. Families are served by the Milton Area School District, and commuters can easily hop on PA 147 or U.S. 15 to reach regional hospitals, shops, and dining across the river.
