Minerva Park, OH

Minerva Park is a charming, tucked-away village completely surrounded by northeast Columbus. It has one of the most unique backstories in the area: back in the late 1890s, the land was a popular amusement park at the end of a streetcar line, complete with a roller coaster, a zoo, and a scenic lake. When homes replaced the attractions in the 1920s, the neighborhood kept much of the original green space intact. Today, quiet residential streets wind past mature trees, ponds, and walking paths that give the village a distinctly peaceful, park-like feel.

With around two thousand residents, it feels like a classic small town tucked right inside the larger metro area. Neighbors often run into each other at the community pool, around the playgrounds, or during local events like garden tours and holiday parades. The village is served by the Westerville City School District, and its own dedicated police department adds to the neighborhood's attentive feel. Residents enjoy a calm, laid-back atmosphere while staying just minutes away from downtown Columbus and shopping hubs like Easton Town Center.
