About Minster
Minster is a village spanning Auglaize and Shelby counties in Ohio and part of the Wapakoneta micropolitan area. The 2020 census counted 3,046 residents. New Bremen borders it to the north. Founded in 1832 under the name Stallostown, Minster developed near the canal system. Southeast of the village, Loramie Creek was enlarged around 1847 to create the Lake Loramie reservoir, now the setting for Lake Loramie State Park.
