Morrisonville, NY

Morrisonville is a Clinton County hamlet and census-designated place west of Plattsburgh, with 1,893 residents in the 2020 census. The Saranac River divides it between the towns of Plattsburgh and Schuyler Falls, and New York Route 22B runs through the community toward Schuyler Falls and Peru. That split-town geography is part of the local map: the same streets feed different municipal offices, yet the hamlet shares a school district and a common river corridor. Morrisonville Elementary is one of the Saranac Central School District's three campuses, and the district serves communities along the Saranac River valley at the foot of the Adirondacks.
