Mount Aetna, PA

Tucked along Route 501 in western Berks County, Mount Aetna is a quiet rural village surrounded by rolling farmland and open countryside. The community's roots date back to the mid-nineteenth century, when village founder Peter Woleber donated land to build St. John's Church, originally a simple log structure with records kept in German. Today, the church and its cemetery remain familiar landmarks anchoring the settlement. It is an easygoing spot where residents enjoy quiet country living along with quick access up and down Route 501 to neighboring towns in Berks and Lebanon counties.
