Mulliken, MI

Mulliken is a village in Roxand Township in Eaton County, a rural farming community whose beginnings followed the Detroit, Lansing and Northern Railway. The post office opened in 1888, and the village incorporated in 1903. The railroad also brought one of the community's more dramatic moments: a Pere Marquette train derailed in 1908, injuring about ten people.
