Munds Park is an unincorporated census-designated community in Coconino County, Arizona, situated on the scenic Colorado Plateau. set at an elevation of 6,510 feet, the town is completely surrounded by the Coconino National Forest, just north of Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon. Founded in 1876 by rancher William Munds, it serves today as a mountain retreat and a gateway to outdoor recreation. Local residents and visitors enjoy boating and fishing at nearby Mormon Lake and Lake Mary, and the community is served by the Flagstaff Unified School District.
