Muttontown, NY

Muttontown is a small, affluent village on Long Island's North Shore, within the greater Syosset and Oyster Bay area. The land was historically inhabited by Matinecock people before European settlement, and the village later became known for estates, large lots, and wooded residential roads. It is served by several school districts, including Jericho, Locust Valley, and Oyster Bay-East Norwich. Muttontown feels residential, private, and spacious, with more of an estate-village character than a conventional Long Island suburb.
