Myers Flat, CA

Tucked right along the scenic Avenue of the Giants, Myers Flat is a tiny Humboldt County community of fewer than a hundred residents. It sits along a horseshoe bend of the South Fork Eel River, surrounded by towering coastal redwoods. Named after 19th-century settler Grant Myers, the hamlet has rebuilt through historic Eel River floods and settled into a peaceful, slow-paced stop with rustic lodges and quick access to some of California’s most impressive forest trails.
