Myrtle, MS

Tucked into the rolling hills of Union County, Myrtle is a quiet, small-town community situated just northwest of New Albany along Highway 178. The area dates back to the 1850s, when it was originally known as Candy Hill before renaming itself after the local myrtle trees and shifting slightly north to meet the incoming railroad.
