Natural Steps, AR

Natural Steps is an unincorporated census-designated place in Pulaski County, Arkansas, situated on the southern bank of the Arkansas River. Located eighteen miles northwest of Little Rock, the farming community takes its name from a striking geologic formation of parallel sandstone walls used as a landmark by river boatmen. The residential settlement lies within sight of Pinnacle Mountain State Park, offering easy access to outdoor recreation. Historically, local education and worship began in 1884 at the Shady Grove Methodist Church.
