Nazareth College, NY

Nazareth College is a census-designated place in Monroe County, New York, centered on the former college campus in Pittsford, east of Rochester. The institution began in 1924 when five Sisters of St. Joseph opened a college for women at a mansion on Lake Avenue in Rochester. The school moved to Augustine Street in 1928, then to its present East Avenue site in Pittsford in 1942.
