About Nephi

Nephi is a city and the county seat of Juab County, Utah, situated in the Juab Valley between the Wasatch and San Pitch mountains. Originally a campground along the Salt Creek on the Old Mormon Road, the community of approximately 6,900 was settled in 1851 by George Washington Bradley. Zoned within the Juab School District, the city lies seventy-five miles south of Salt Lake City with nearby access from Interstate 15.
