Sitting right along Penns Creek, New Berlin is a quiet borough of around 800 people that offers a classic small-town feel. The center of town revolves around its historic square, where you will find the local post office, a small museum, and the original county courthouse. New Berlin was founded in 1792 and served as Union County’s very first county seat before local government moved over to Lewisburg.
