Newark, MD

Newark is a Worcester County census-designated place on Maryland's Delmarva Peninsula, with the old Queponco Railway Station as its clearest historical landmark. The station was one of eight stops on the Worcester Railroad, a line that later became part of the Pennsylvania Railroad system. Built in 1910, Queponco served the communities around Newark, Snow Hill, and Berlin before closing in the 1960s.
