Newhope, AR

Set among the pine forests and rolling countryside of Pike County, Newhope is a small, quiet community in southwest Arkansas at the junction of U.S. 70 and Highway 369. Home to fewer than 200 residents, daily life here revolves around scattered family homes, local churches, a general store, and the area's poultry farms and timber industry. The town got its start in the late 19th century near the Little Missouri River, serving travelers on their way west.
