Newport, IN

The town really comes alive every fall for the Newport Antique Auto Hill Climb. Held on the first weekend of October, the festival brings thousands of visitors to watch vintage cars, trucks, and motorcycles tackle the town's famous steep hill. The event fills the streets with a parade, car shows, local food, and flea markets. Outside of race weekend, Newport settles back into a friendly, close-knit community that offers plenty of small-town charm.
