About Nibbe
Nibbe is a census-designated place in Montana. The 2020 census counted 71 residents. Once a station on the Northern Pacific Railway one mile west of the geological formation Pompeys Pillar, Nibbe was established as a town in 1920 along the Yellowstone River. Nibbe was an agricultural community in the Huntley Project area and had a grain elevator and a number of small businesses. Nibbe's local map joins its older history to the places and landscapes that still shape the town today, all within the wider Montana setting. The local scoop is how Nibbe's history still shows up in the places people visit, work, learn, and meet.
