Nicut, OK

Nicut is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma, United States. The 2020 census counted 286 residents. Nicut was originally named Vrona; its post office changed its name on December 16, 1925. Nicut was named for a "nigh cut", or shortcut, on the road to Muldrow. That mix gives Nicut a clear local shape within Oklahoma, with older layers still visible in current places.
