Norco, LA

Sitting along the east bank of the Mississippi River in St. Charles Parish, Norco is a tight-knit community of around 2,800 residents. The town got its name from the historic New Orleans Refining Company, and the local Shell facility continues to play a major role in the local economy. Bordered by the Bonnet Carré Spillway on one side and the river on the other, Norco offers a quiet, small-town atmosphere where neighbors know each other.
