North Wantagh is a hamlet and census-designated place in Nassau County, on Long Island's South Shore side. It does not have its own post office, so addresses generally use Wantagh or Seaford, which fits the way the area blends into nearby hamlets and suburban neighborhoods. North Wantagh is served by schools in the Levittown Union Free School District, and Forest City Community Park provides a local recreation spot in the Forest City section. The community is residential, practical, and very much part of everyday Nassau County life.
