Northport, WA

Northport sits along a wide bend of the Columbia River in northeastern Washington, just a short drive from the Canadian border. The town grew quickly in the late 1890s as a railroad and smelter hub supplying silver and gold mines across the region. The industrial boom is in the past, but the town has held onto its historic character, with early-1900s brick buildings framed by steep, forested mountains and open water.
