About Norwalk

Norwalk is a city and the county seat of Huron County, Ohio, situated in the historic Firelands subregion of the Connecticut Western Reserve. Originally settled in 1809 by Connecticut residents seeking compensation for homes burned during the Revolutionary War, the city of approximately 17,100 lies ten miles south of Lake Erie. Today, the community is served by the Norwalk City School District and Norwalk Catholic Schools.
