Nunn, CO

Nunn is a quiet, tight-knit town on the northern Colorado plains, sitting right along Highway 85 between Greeley and Cheyenne. It got its start as a railroad stop named after Tom Nunn, a local homesteader who famously flagged down an oncoming train to save it from a burning bridge. Life here has always revolved around farming and ranching, and the community still holds onto that unhurried, grounded feel with open land, dirt roads, and plenty of space to breathe.

Day-to-day life in Nunn comes with big prairie skies, clear views of the distant Front Range, and peaceful surroundings. The Northern Drylanders Museum in the old town hall keeps the local farming history alive, but the main draw for newcomers is the quiet rural pace.
