About O'Kean
O'Kean is a small town in Randolph County, Arkansas, bordered by Greene County to the east and situated one mile north of Lawrence County. Settled prior to the Civil War, the community was named in honor of Father James O'Kean, a Catholic priest who frequently visited the area. Today, the town has a population of approximately one hundred and ninety residents, who are zoned to the Greene County Tech School District.
