Oak Grove, AR (Town)

Oak Grove is a small town in northern Carroll County, Arkansas, close to the Missouri line. It sits in the Ozark Mountains at the junction of Arkansas Highways 21 and 103, with Indian Creek running near part of town. Oak Grove incorporated in the 1930s and later reincorporated in 1950. The place is modest in size, but its border location, Ozark setting, and status as the incorporated Oak Grove in Arkansas give it a clearer identity than the name alone suggests.
