Oakley, WY

Oakley is a tiny, quiet community tucked just south of Kemmerer in southwestern Wyoming's Lincoln County. Home to only a couple dozen residents, the settlement got its start over a century ago as a coal mining camp tied to the Oregon Short Line railroad. Today, it offers wide-open high desert views and rural peace, while everyday necessities and town conveniences are just a quick drive up the road in Kemmerer.
