Oakmont is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, situated along the eastern bank of the Allegheny River as a suburb of Pittsburgh. The community of approximately 6,702 is best known for the adjacent Oakmont Country Club, a historic venue that has hosted numerous U.S. Open golf tournaments. The town features the historic Kerr Memorial Museum and public education is administered by the Riverview School District.
