Oakwood, PA

Oakwood is an unincorporated Lawrence County community in Union Township, along the Shenango River and U.S. Route 422. The river forms the community’s northeastern edge, while the highway runs through the valley between New Castle and Youngstown. That makes Oakwood easy to place even without a municipal center: follow the Shenango, then follow 422. The place sits inside the wider Pennsylvania–Ohio road map, with the river leading southeast toward New Castle and northwest toward Youngstown.
