Old Bethpage, NY

Old Bethpage is a Nassau County census-designated place on Long Island, best known for Old Bethpage Village Restoration, a living-history museum that preserves 19th-century Long Island buildings and life. The area also has ties to Bethpage State Park, where remnants of a railroad turntable remain in the woods near Round Swamp Road. Old Bethpage is mostly residential, with schools, parks, and easy access to surrounding central Nassau communities. It feels quieter than the busier commercial corridors nearby, but still very much part of suburban Long Island.
