Orfordville, WI

Orfordville is a Rock County village where Highway 11, Highway 213, and the Wisconsin and Southern Railroad meet. The name began as Orford, after a town in New Hampshire, but the post office changed it when mail was being confused with Oxford, Wisconsin. That practical correction is part of the village's map: a rail line, a school district, and roads threading through the county. Parkview School District is based in Orfordville and serves the village and surrounding communities.
