Ozora, MO

Ozora is a quiet rural community nestled in Ste. Genevieve County, about eight miles south of historic Sainte Genevieve. Founded by German settlers and surrounded by rolling farmland, the area settled on the unique name Ozora back in 1901 when the local post office needed an alternative to Ozark. Today, it offers a peaceful slice of Missouri countryside where neighbors know one another and wide-open acreage defines the scenery, all while keeping residents within an easy drive of town conveniences.
